The Squiers family business began its agricultural machinery repair business by the late Murray Squiers in 1932 to service the local hills community of orchardists and vegetable growers. Continued growth and the establishment of several new machinery franchises saw the eventual retirement of Murray and the business was handed over to his son, Darryl Squiers in 1984. who formed Squiers Sales and Service at this time.The family involvement in the company is growing with four 3rd generation family members actively involved in the business today.
The business now has two major tractor franchises, Kubota and Landini and has also been appointed as the state distributor for the leading turf equipment manufacturers Textron, (Jacobsen, Ransomes, Ryan and Cushman) and Redexim (VertiDrain). We have the agency for many supporting companies that enable us to be a one stop shop for the majority of your agricultural and turf machinery needs.
To support these franchises and our customers in the best possible way, our sales and workshop staff undergo regular training and development and certification courses to ensure that they stay ahead of current trends and be recognised as experts in their field.
